They Know is populated by my immediate family, by underlying secrets, crises, and loss. The cooperation of my family as my subjects is important to me. It is a conversation without words between myself and the people who love me. Through silence they wish to protect both themselves and me. Through images we bond and communicate what is too difficult to otherwise express.
